PREVIEW: Jenn and Nate!

When Jenn told me that she was engaged, I was pretty excited. Three reasons:

1. I have known Jenn for FOREVER and knew how excited she was, therefore I was too.

2. She was marrying Nathan and he might be the sweetest and most hilarious guy EVER.

3. I knew I would have the delight of taking their engagement photos. 

And did I ever. Like hundreds. So for now, here is a little taster of what is to come. You guys are DA BOMB. 

Hilarious Hilary! (AKA. Karyn's Tiny Human)

Okay, so I met Karyn during my work placement. Karyn is one of the most awesome people I know. Point blank. She helped me in more ways than I can tell anyone throughout my placement and is by far one of the most positive people I know. It should be no surprise then, that her spawn (Hilary) is ridiculously hilarious! I'm not even joking when I say that camera-shake got a whole new meaning because I was busting a gut so hard, I actually had trouble avoiding fuzzy photos. This little girl has so much personality and energy that I had trouble keeping up. Despite it being an informal photoshoot (I only had my nifty-fifty outside with me and didn't bother to run back in to get another lens), there are a couple of goodies in here. This kid has to be one of the most photogenic people I have ever seen! Anyhow, take a look for yourself. Looking forward to shooting you guys again in the fall! Pretty leaves, pretty ladies...bahhhh! Can't wait! :)

Preview: Karyn and Family!

I haven't known Karyn for that long, but here is what I do know: she is awesome, she has taught me a LOT, and she has a kid that might be one of the most hilarious tiny human's I have ever met. Here's a sneak peak of what happened on that gorgeous day!

Mad for Madden!

I have known Tara since I was literally Madden's age! We were born 5 days apart and our parents were good friends, so it was super crazy when Tara had a little one of her own and I got to take pictures of him! I was super excited and Madden was such a little star. He really did a great job even when we took off all his clothes to shoot his cute little wrinkly bum. He has the cutest cranky face I have ever seen. Thank you Tara and Jake for letting me spend some time with your wee one--you are super lucky, and Tara I have to say, after editing these, it's hard to deny that he really does look like his mommy! Can't wait to see him again! xo

Gunther!

Right, so even though Gunther isn't my dog, I pretty much love him as much as if he was my dog . After a two-year hiatus from visiting Gunther I finally got to see him last night and he was just as awesome as ever--just a little more grey. At almost 18 years old, Gunther still has the same stunned look on his face that he did as a pup! Seeeeaaaal.

Preview: Madden!

So he might have been the cutest little thing I have ever seen. By far one of the teeniest, tiniest, CUTEST little humans I have ever seen. Did I mention that at only a few weeks old he was an absolute star? Totally adorable! Thank you Tara and Jake for the great afternoon! For now, a tiny preview of the tiny human called Madden :)

Lynsey, Russell, and a Whole 'Lotta Fun

Being in the UK was a huge adventure and one of the best things about being there was meeting the amazing people that I did. Lynsey started off as the coolest boss I've ever had and quickly became my friend! I had the privilege of attending her wedding at the end of August and acted as a very unofficial photographer snapping photos of everyone all night! She made a beautiful bride and had the best band I've ever head at a wedding! I finally got around to editing a few (moving overseas and getting re-settled in your home country takes WAY longer than I thought it ever could) and I hope they enjoy them just as much I enjoyed taking them! Will post more as soon as I'm in the new place and have a bit of time! Congratulations to you both and thank you so much for letting me be part of your special day! Here is a quick sneak peak for now!
